Tomorrow's the big day!
Just a reminder of what you will be seeing here: I will try to do a new post daily talking about what we did, what we saw, etc. I will include some select pictures as well. PLEASE feel free to comment on the blog entries, it will help me feel a little closer to home! :)
I would be amiss if I didn't mention that there are two other "Official" blogs that you should also check out while we're on tour. The first is the U of U's new blog, RedThread. http://redthread.utah.edu/ We have U of U administration traveling with us and they will be blogging about the trip occasionally. Then, of course, there is the U of U Singers Offcial Blog: http://www.universityofutahsingers.blogspot.com/ I recommend checking all of these for updates, but I imagine that mine will most likely be the one updated most frequently.
Things I've learned from packing:
1. Even the biggest suitcase I could find isn't big enough for a month-long trip.
2. It's very difficult to keep a big suitcase under 50 pounds.
3. I look like an idiot carrying around a 50 pound suitcase.
4. Losing things sucks. Especially your camera charger. From now on, I shall place all of my camera accessories in one central location so I can avoid the big search in the future.
